Introducing Custom Join Forms

We’re excited to introduce Custom Join Forms, a powerful new feature that lets you personalize the onboarding experience for your groups. Now, you can customize the questions new members see when they join a group, ensuring you collect the most relevant information for your organization’s needs.

Why This Matters

Custom Join Forms allow you to:

  • Tailor onboarding – Ask questions specific to your group’s focus, such as military branch selection for a veterans group.

  • Improve engagement – Collect meaningful insights upfront so you can better connect with and support new members.

  • Streamline data collection – Keep all member responses in one place without needing manual follow-ups.

How to Approach This Transition

Automatic Prompts: Chezie will automatically prompt existing members who haven’t completed a join form to Finish joining when they log in.

  • Stay tuned for additional updates that make it easier for members to manage their membership(s) 👀

Changing your join form: We highly suggest you change your group’s join form sparingly and be thoughtful about it.

  • As a best practice, whenever new Group leads are brought on, review the existing join form and previous responses to see if either:

    1. Any additional data points you’d like to collect, or

    2. None of the data points currently collected are relevant.

At most, you should change your join form once a year.
